Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) to join our nursing management team. You will work alongside the Director of Nursing Services to guide daily operations, support nursing staff, and strengthen the quality and consistency of resident care.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, NH RN license, at least two years of supervisory experience in long-term care, and CPR/BCLS with IV certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• A current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices relevant to long-term care.
• Current CPR/BCLS and IV certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing daily functions.
• Promote coordinated care by linking nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Assist with quality review and systems management to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide leadership to the nursing management team and support staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation with the Director of Nursing Services and other nurse managers.

How you’ll make an impact

As ADNS, you’ll help turn care standards into consistent daily practice. You will:

• Support nursing operations: Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the department’s daily functions.
• Promote coordinated care: Help coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
• Strengthen quality: Assist with quality review and systems management to identify opportunities for improvement and support effective nursing practices.
• Provide leadership: Work with the nursing management team to support staff and uphold standards of person-centered care.
• Share on-call coverage: Participate in the on-call rotation with the Director of Nursing Services and other nurse managers.

What you’ll bring

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• A current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license, maintained in good standing with the NH Board of Nursing.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures relevant to long-term care.
• Current CPR/BCLS and IV certifications.
