Oak Park Place in Madison, WI, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department, ensure safe, home-like care, and support residents' wellness. This role uses sound clinical practices and oversees the clinical team.

• Verifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties.
• Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget.
• Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.

The Assistant Director of Nursing job responsibilities include managing the nursing department with the goal of providing a safe, home-like environment where our residents can achieve and maintain their fullest level of wellness and function. This position utilizes sound clinical practices to maintain excellent quality care as well as manages the clinical team and oversees resident health and wellness through regular resident monitoring and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements nursing policy and procedure and ensures smooth operation of the clinical department. Other relevant duties as may be required or assigned.

Requirements
