Job summary

Bella Terra Lombard in Lombard, IL is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the Clinical Department and ensure residents receive exceptional care. You will supervise clinical operations and help drive a positive, inclusive culture across the facility.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, is experienced in Infection Prevention, and has substantial RN leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field required.
• Unencumbered Illinois RN license required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Five (5) years of RN experience required.
• Infection Prevention experience preferred.
• Prior experience managing a nursing department required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department to ensure high standards of care.
• Foster a positive and inclusive facility culture.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations by the nursing department.
• Protect residents by maintaining excellent clinical practices and attention to detail.

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bella Terra Lombardby assisting with overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, assisting with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, ensuring the nursing department is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State ofIllinoisRegistered Nurse (R.N.) license;

• C.P.R. Certification;

• Five (5) years of R.N. experience;

• Infection Prevention experience;

• Prior experience managing a nursing department.
