Job summary

Bella Terra Wheeling is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Supervisor to join our compassionate team in Wheeling, IL. You will supervise clinical staff on your unit, promote infection prevention practices, and ensure adequate staffing to deliver high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an IL Registered Nurse license, CPR certification, and at least two years of RN experience; five years of leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered IL RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Two (2) years of RN experience required; five (5) years of RN experience preferable for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.

As a Nurse Supervisor you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bella Terra Wheeling by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification, and two (2) years of R.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit and five (5) years of R.N. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
