Job summary

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) invites applications for Assistant Director of Information Technology (Digital Transformation) to lead Student Information Systems and related services. The role requires expertise in Oracle/PeopleSoft, ERP systems and cloud platforms with strong leadership and vendor management skills, plus fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft development and ERP systems.
• Cloud platform administration experience.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Excellent vendor, project, and conflict management skills.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership for the planning, implementation and maintenance of the University’s Student Information Systems and related service and applications.
• Overseeing system integration, data quality and process optimisation to ensure efficient information flow across academic schools and administrative offices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to analyse needs, translate them into system requirements to meet the current and future needs of the University.
• Managing system upgrades, tenders, vendor relationships and project delivery to meet defined timelines and quality standards.
• Supervising an information system team to implement, develop, enhance and maintain ERP as well as other application systems of the University; and
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
