Position Summary

The ADON is responsible for leading and coordinating residents' health and wellbeing, working alongside the Director of Health & Wellness. The role includes developing and managing the personal care staff schedule, handling call-offs, and ensuring proper staffing levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DHW with assigned duties.
• Create and post staff schedules timely.
• Fill call-offs and manage staffing replacements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate on resident assessments and service plans.
• Communicate with residents' families regarding health concerns.
• Oversee medication administration and maintain confidentiality.
• Promote resident independence, dignity, and safety.
• Participate in shift reports and incident management.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Licensed or Registered Nurse.
• Experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care.
• Preferably, two years of nursing experience and one year in management.
