This essential role reports to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner to provide dedicated recruitment across our portfolio of architecture and engineering firms. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner and their hiring managers to learn about their unique needs, uncover the local competitive landscape, and contribute to creative recruitment ideas that help our firms hire the best of the best! You'll employ cutting-edge sourcing techniques to connect with passive candidates, conduct engaging screenings, and oversee a smooth hiring process that delights both candidates and stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner to understand the hiring needs of the firms you support.
  • Deep Sourcing: Employ advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage passive candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, social media, and niche job boards.
  • Source Candidates: Use various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Build Talent Pipelines: Develop and maintain networks of potential candidates for future openings.
  • Screen Applicants: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Manage Recruitment Process: Coordinate interviews, feedback, and offer negotiations for a smooth hiring process.
  • Promote Employer Brand: Enhance the company's reputation through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
  • Communication: Maintain professional and friendly communication with all involved parties.
  • Develop Job Descriptions: Create clear and compelling job postings.
  • Assist with hiring and training additional team members as needed.
  • Track all activity in Greenhouse, LinkedIn tools, and billable hours.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ proven experience in recruiting for architecture, engineering, or highly skilled professional roles.
  • 1+ year assisting with hiring, training, and team support.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Creative and deep sourcing expertise.
  • Ability to work from a professional home office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-state and remote teams.
  • Knowledge of architecture and engineering principles, practices, and terminology.

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and discreet.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with ATS and recruitment software (preferably Greenhouse, iSolve, LinkedIn Recruiter).

Networking Skills

  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiating abilities.
