Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Thorough working knowledge of financial aid and accounting regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. CSAC, IRS, DOE).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in management of student financial aid programs and student financial aid delivery.
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• Strong computer application and relational databases management skills.
• Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated; excellent administrative abilities; strong integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee awarding of student financial aid and manage aid programs for all federal/state aid.
• Coordinate selection of endowed scholarships according to donor criteria.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DOE and CSAC; reconcile loans and grants monthly and year-end.
• Manage third party billing and process third party invoices.
• Perform federally mandated refund calculations for financial aid funds.
• Communicate with students about SAP, aid eligibility, and revisions.
