Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Masters degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in college financial aid office with needs analysis and aid packaging.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a student caseload and reconcile federal/state funding programs.
• Analyze FAFSA data for eligibility and perform file verification.
• Mentor and train counseling staff on daily processes and aid adjustments.
• Oversee SAP processes and appeals, and manage changes to student records.
• Liaise with special populations and external agencies on program matters.
• Manage multiple financial aid programs (CalGrant, Pell, SEOG) and monitor budgets.
• Develop and conduct workshops for students on funding education.
