Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas is seeking an Assistant Director of Facilities Services to oversee the daily operations of Facilities and Food Services, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and contractor oversight.

You will ensure a safe, clean, and functional campus. The role requires maintaining OSHA/NFPA/compliance and assisting with budget and risk management to support both children and employees served by the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing facilities operations and supervising staff.
• 1–2 years of facility safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and Joint Commission codes and standards related to facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facilities Director in day-to-day operation of Facilities and Food Services.
• Supervise, coach, train, and provide ongoing feedback to department employees.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate departmental coverage.
• Monitor the quality and completion of work performed by employees and outside contractors.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-functioning physical environment.
• Identify facility and safety concerns and ensure corrective action.
• Support OSHA, NFPA, accreditation, licensing, and organizational requirements.
