Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas is seeking an Assistant Director of Facilities Services to support the daily operations of our Facilities and Food Services departments. You will work closely with the Director to supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across our campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years managing facilities operations and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and Joint Commission codes is preferred.
• Strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Director in day-to-day operation of Facilities and Food Services.
• Supervise, coach, train, and provide feedback to department employees.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling for appropriate coverage.
• Monitor quality and completion of work by employees and contractors.
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning physical environment.
• Identify safety concerns and ensure corrective action.
• Support budgets and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, accreditation, licensing requirements.
