Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing activities at the PA Adult Services Center and to guide staff in delivering high-quality, compliant care. This role oversees budgeting and collaborates with medical, admissions and operations teams to maintain excellent program health.

The position requires a PA-licensed RN with a BSN; MSN preferred, and at least five years of nursing experience including supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold PA RN license.
• BSN is required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years nursing experience in a health care facility.
• At least three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Directs Center nursing activities to ensure delivery of quality nursing services per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Guids staff to implement a program focusing on high quality health care services and provides leadership and ongoing support to nursing staff.
• Maintains department budget and fiscal health.
• Coordinates and collaborates with medical, admissions, operations, and quality management.
• Serves as liaison with on-call physicians, community medical providers, and independent contractors.
