The Assistant Director of Facilities provides leadership and oversight for the maintenance, custodial, renovation, and facilities of all university residential communities. This position is responsible for ensuring that halls are safe, well-maintained, clean and conducive to student success. The Assistant Director reports to the senior level Assistant Director and supervises facilities staff, manages work order systems, oversees preventative maintenance programs, coordinates improvement projects and collaborates with campus partners to support the residential experience.
The Assistant Director of Facilities must possess exceptional communication and leadership skills as well as demonstrate an understanding of building maintenance and custodial work necessary for oversight of facility management. This person should be available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, have an earned bachelor’s degree and three years of applicable experience is preferred. Qualified candidates who possess both the personal and professional skills and the appropriate experience required for this position are encouraged to apply.
The salary for the position is $50,000.
