Job summary

Louisiana Tech University, Physical Plant-Ruston, LA, is seeking a custodial worker for a Monday–Friday shift from 5:30am to 2:30pm, with possible overtime, weekends, or holidays. You will lead custodians, sweep, mop, clean restrooms, stock supplies, change light bulbs, and help maintain clean, safe facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead worker over custodians, sweeping or vacuuming offices, classrooms and all other work areas.
• Wet mop all hard floors.
• Clean restrooms and stock with tissue and paper towel.
• Empty trash containers and replace trash liners when needed.
• Replace light bulbs as needed and report broken light fixtures and other repairs needed.
• Clean entrance and remove spider webs and empty trash containers.
• Operates buffer/wet vac when stripping and waxing floors.
