Qualifications

  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, data quality, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Supports CRM administration and ongoing development of the Slate CRM to support admissions operations and enrollment goals.
  • Develops, maintains, tests, and deploys Slate workflows, rules, decisions, portals, forms, dashboards, campaigns, and communications.
  • Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for data-informed decisions.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes and utilize CRM technology effectively.
  • Provides day-to-day technical support for Slate users and troubleshooting.
  • Creates user documentation and assists with training to promote consistent CRM use.
  • Collaborates with campus partners, vendors, and external partners on CRM enhancements and integrations.
  • Assists with CRM projects, upgrades, migrations, testing, and feature implementations.
  • Keeps knowledge current on Slate functionality and CRM best practices.

Job description

The Assistant Director of CRM Processes and Analysis is a member of the admission technology team and serves as a technical and operational resource for the institution's admission CRM. This position supports the development, administration, optimization, and ongoing improvement of the Technolutions Slate environment to advance enrollment goals and strengthen the student admission experience. The Assistant Director collaborates with campus partners to develop and maintain CRM workflows, reports, communications, and other tools while ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and consistent processes.

Position Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000. This is the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary offered will depend on a candidate's experience and education, and departmental budget.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the Director of CRM Processes and Analysis in the administration and ongoing development of the Technolutions Slate CRM to support admission operations and enrollment goals.
  • Assists in developing, maintaining, testing, and deploying Slate workflows, rules, decisions, portals, forms, dashboards, campaigns, and communications.
  • Develops and maintains regular reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support admission operations and data-informed decision-making.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and make effective use of CRM technology and data.
  • Provides day-to-day technical support for Slate users, including troubleshooting, prioritizing issues, and assisting with resolution.
  • Develops user documentation and assists with training and support to promote consistent use of CRM tools and processes.
  • Collaborates with campus partners, vendors, and other external partners on CRM enhancements, integrations, system updates, and new functionality.
  • Assists with CRM-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, testing, and implementation of new features.
  • Maintains knowledge of Slate functionality, CRM best practices, and emerging technologies and assists in identifying opportunities for system enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional experience administering, developing, or supporting Technolutions Slate or a comparable CRM system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, data quality, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on experience with Technolutions Slate in a college or university admissions, enrollment management, or student services environment.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with Ellucian Colleague.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
The essential functions of this position are primarily performed in an indoor setting with limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Work is often sedentary in nature and requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods. Required abilities include speaking and hearing for in-person and virtual communication, using close and distance vision when reading documents or viewing screens, and performing tasks with repetitive fine motor skills. Work may require occasional lifting, bending, carrying, or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
