Job summary

Qualifications

Associate’s/Technical degree required with considerable experience overseeing wastewater operations or related public works.
Experience directing daily operations and coordinating across departments.
Ability to review budgets, prepare technical reports, and communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

Direct daily operations of the Richmond Sanitary District under the Sanitary Director.
Oversee policies and procedures to meet district goals and comply with environmental regulations.
Assist in annual budgeting and inter-department coordination.
Prepare specifications for equipment and repairs; coordinate with Director, boards, and vendors.
Respond to citizen inquiries and emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
