Job summary

Boston University Questrom School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director of Specialty Masters Career Coaching to deliver comprehensive career services to our Master’s students through courses, coaching sessions, and workshops, both on campus and virtually.

The role includes developing and implementing strategies to promote career development, documenting student meetings in our Career Management Platform, tracking outcomes to reporting standards, and collaborating with other departments

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.
Experience providing career coaching or counseling to graduate students or early professionals.
Strong presentation and communication skills; able to speak in classroom settings.
Fluency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Documents.
Proactiveness and self-awareness in advising and program delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver career coaching and develop programs for BU Questrom master's students.
Lead career courses, individual coaching sessions, and workshops, on campus and virtually.
Document meetings in the Career Management Platform and track internship and employment outcomes.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure holistic student support.
Possibly supervise graduate assistants and student workers; participate in professional development.
