Job summary

Boston University Questrom School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director of Master of Finance Career Coaching. You will deliver career services to Masters students through courses, coaching sessions, and workshops on campus and virtually.

You will plan strategies, collaborate with staff, document meetings in the Career Management Platform, and track internship outcomes while coordinating with departments for holistic student support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Experience providing career coaching or counseling to graduate students or early professionals preferred.
• Experience with a diverse and international group of students or advisees preferred.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to speak and present in a classroom or similar environment.
• Fluent with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Documents.
• High degree of proactiveness and self-awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide career coaching to BU Questrom Masters students through individual sessions and workshops.
• Develop and implement career development programs on campus and virtually.
• Document meetings in the Career Management Platform and track outcomes.
• Coordinate with career center staff and other departments.
• Supervise graduate assistants and student workers when applicable.
