Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) seeks an Assistant Director of IT Support to lead the IT Operations teams within the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The role will oversee Service Desk, Field Support and Endpoint lifecycle management, ensuring reliable, customer-focused IT services for students, faculty and staff.

The position partners with UNLV Health and campus IT to align services with clinical and academic priorities, set expectations, and drive staff development and performance

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or a medical school setting is preferred.
• Experience managing Service Desk, Field Support, and endpoint services.
• Experience developing service delivery strategies and improving operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for Service Desk, Field Support and Endpoint lifecycle teams.
• Set service expectations, monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with UNLV Health and campus IT to align services with needs.
