The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant Director, IT Operations to lead the systems engineering and operations organization responsible for the infrastructure the University runs on — data center & server hosting, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup & recovery, patching & platform lifecycle, identity & login services, 24x7x365 monitoring.

Formación

• Five years of enterprise infrastructure or IT operations experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Hands-on administration of enterprise Windows Server and/or Linux environments at scale.
• Working knowledge of enterprise virtualization, backup & recovery, patch management, & infrastructure monitoring practices.
• Demonstrated experience with formal change management and incident management processes in a production environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the systems engineering and operations organization for the University's infrastructure (data center, server hosting, virtualization, storage, backup & recovery).
• Lead projects and assist in budgetary matters to support enterprise services.
• Provide operational discipline to maintain a large production environment and guide senior engineers through change.
