Job summary

The New School in New York City is seeking an Assistant Director of Study Abroad Advising & International Education to lead study abroad advising, partner coordination, and program development across the university. This role reports to the Assistant Provost for Academic Advising and supervises student assistants.

You will manage the study abroad application cycle, support high-impact international scholarships, and collaborate with multiple campus offices to ensure safe, high-quality mobility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Three years of progressive experience in advising or international education.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; Terraforma Terra Dotta experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee study abroad advising and support services across the university.
• Manage all aspects of the study abroad application process.
• Develop pre-departure and re-entry programming for participants.
• Coordinate with offices and external partners on mobility programs.
