Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years' financial administration experience including budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
• Three years' experience interpreting financial reports.
• Six months' strategic planning experience with multi-year objectives.
• Six months' operations management experience with directing and evaluating operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, formulation, and integration of financial management programs.
• Develop and implement methods for program evaluation.
• Oversee development of multi-year plans and programs.
• Explain financial plans to departmental and legislative officials.
• Identify problem areas and propose solutions.
• Support legislation aligned with the department's strategic plan.
• Coordinate focus groups, task forces, and steering committees.
• Provide budgeting and management expertise to administration and operations managers.
• Monitor day-to-day fiscal activities for compliance with objectives.
