Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; master's preferred.
• 3-5 years of financial aid or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to financial aid inquiries via email, phone and meetings; provide exceptional customer service to inform prospective students, applicants, and enrolled students about the financial aid application process and their current statuses.
• Independently perform file review, federal verification, and federal and institutional awarding; manage SAIG import/export; oversee private loan portfolio and state programs; review scholarship and loan applications; exercise professional judgment for special circumstances.
• Create, edit, and timely communicate financial aid information (virtual and print); develop programming for new student enrollment and aid communication.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director and Director to generate statistical reports on loan and scholarship data; monitor enrollment trends.
• Stay current on university and federal financial aid policies.
• Present financial aid information at university events and orientations.
• Perform other related duties within OES in support of Financial Aid, admission, student services and registration.
