Qualifications

  • 4 years customer service experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, database management, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience designing and implementing educational or training curricula for staff or clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and overall management for accommodated and accessible testing.
  • Oversee staffing decisions, workload/priority management, policy and process implementation.
  • Manage integrity breach reporting and testifying at hearings.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies, ADA standards, and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with ADA Coordinator, Academic Affairs, Student Life, Registrar, Testing Center, and other units.
  • Procure additional off-site testing locations as needed.

Operates with a high level of autonomy and minimal supervision; possess significant decision-making authority for all accountabilities related to the exam services staff and facility, that includes but is not limited to staffing decisions, workload/priority management, effective policy and process implementation, integrity breach reporting and testifying at hearings; manages resolution of conflicts with students and stakeholders.The Assistant Director, Exam Services plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with university policies, industry standards, and legal regulations related to disability accommodated test administration of over 25,000+ assessments annually. They are responsible for the integrity, security, and confidential management of academic assessments and student disability information; works closely with the ADA Coordinator and their staff to ensure all practices are within guidance of the ADA Coordinator’s Office; collaborates with Academic Affairs, Student Life, the Registrar’s Office, Testing Center and other university units to procure additional off-site testing locations.**Qualifications**:**Required**: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5 years’ administrative work experience; strong communication skills (both verbal and written), proven interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to multi-task; 2 years supervisory experience; 4 years customer service experience; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, database management, and virtual meeting platforms; experience working in a detail-oriented and fast-paced environment; experience designing and implementing educational or training curricula for staff or clients.**Desired**: Master’s degree; 8 - 12 years’ experience working in higher education, disability or medical services, or student services environment; experience proctoring exams; experience working with individuals with disabilities; and experience with accessibility software (i.e. JAWS, ZOOM TEXT, Read &Write).## Additional Information:Targeted hiring range is $55,700.00 - $72,700.00 annually.
