Job summary

Creighton University seeks an Assistant Director of Event Operations & Technology to lead the Conference and Event Services team and support Student Center Operations and Student Life initiatives.

You will serve as the AV/Technology expert for campus spaces, collaborating on event logistics and ensuring smooth execution from setup to teardown, while supervising staff and contributing to budget decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with two years supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising staff and managing event operations.
• Experience with AV/Technology in campus settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Conference and Event Services team and support Student Center Operations and Student Life initiatives.
• Serve as AV/Technology expert for all campus event spaces; provide Audio-Visual tech and event operations support.
• Collaborate with department staff on event logistics, execution, setup/teardown, turnovers and related needs.
• Install, optimize and serve as point of contact for technology needs for all CE Services staff.
• Supervise 2 professional staff and student staff; assist with budget management and equipment purchases.
• Some evening/weekend hours may be required.
