Job summary

BRCC in Baton Rouge seeks an Assistant Director of Employee Success and Experience to advance the college’s talent lifecycle and employee experience strategy. You will lead HR operations for recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and development, collaborating with campus partners to implement programs that attract, develop, engage, and retain a high-performing workforce.

As a trusted HR partner, you’ll guide assigned team members and may act for the Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, organizational development, employee engagement, or learning and development.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• SHRM-SCP certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition operations and coordinate recruitment for faculty and staff.
• Oversee onboarding, new-hire orientation, and structured onboarding processes.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
• Coordinate learning, leadership development, and CPTP programs.
• Utilize HR technology, analytics, and dashboards to improve service delivery and accountability.
