Qualifications

• Lead Teacher Qualified or Director 1 qualified preferred.
• BA in early childhood or related field preferred; minimum AA degree.
• Three years of teaching experience.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of Lead Teachers and Teachers.
• Assist with development and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and child assessment.
• Assist Director with administrative duties including enrollment interviews, parent visits, intake, and file maintenance.
• Handle tuition collection and deposits, orders of food and supplies, and meal planning.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and substitutes; prepare bills for payment; assist with month-end third party billing.
• Foster parent participation through newsletters, events, conferences, and volunteer activities.
• May teach temporarily to cover for absent teachers or coordinate family child care home activities.
• Plan and implement other projects as requested, including accreditation efforts.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency directives and professional standards.
