Learning Care Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the safe and effective operation of the school alongside the School Director.

You will help promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, while supporting staff recruitment and retention. The company emphasizes excellent benefits, work-life balance, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the North Carolina Level 1, 2, or 3 credential.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• The Assistant Director assists in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff and promote a positive image of the company.
