In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school and supports the growth and development of the children.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of Assistant Director experience in licensed child care, an associates degree in ECE or related field, and meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
• Georgia 40 hour director course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• Assist in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
