Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee daily school operations alongside the School Director. In the Director's absence, you will take sole responsibility to ensure safety and quality care for children.

You will promote social, physical, and intellectual growth, foster a caring environment, and recruit/retain qualified staff while ensuring compliance with licensing standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director and assume sole responsibility in the Director's absence.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for children and families.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
