Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to help ensure the safe, high-quality operation of our school in Baltimore. You will support the School Director and assume responsibility in the Director’s absence, promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and dedication to a positive school culture, with opportunities for professional growth and staff development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director; assume sole responsibility in the Director’s absence.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Support recruitment, development, and retention of quality staff and foster a positive educational environment.
