Job summary

Augusta University seeks an Assistant Director for Testing & Disability Services to coordinate accommodations for students with disabilities across multiple campuses. The role involves direct student interaction, assistive technology management, and supporting standardized testing operations.

You will supervise staff, develop accessible tech plans, and train others on ADA/compliance and testing practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Human Services field or related discipline with at least 1 year of related experience, or a Bachelor's with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in higher education is preferred and familiarity with assistive technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of Section 504 and the ADA in higher education context and strong confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate disability services and accommodations for students and discuss needs with students.
• Oversee testing accommodations, exam coordination, and related logistics.
• Supervise staff located at the Health Sciences campus and student workers.
• Provide instruction and support in assistive technology use and accessible tech plans.
• Lead training on disability services, ADA compliance and testing arrangements.
• Participate in outreach, committees, and institutional planning on accessibility.
