Alfred University seeks an Assistant Director of Accessibility Services to ensure equitable access for students with disabilities. You will coordinate accommodation processes, provide academic coaching, manage caseloads, and promote universal design and inclusive teaching.

Collaboration with faculty and staff is essential to reduce barriers to student success at AU. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role also involves training faculty, developing student success plans, and maintaining

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required.
• Master's degree in School Psychology, Education, College Student Development, or related field preferred.
• Experience with working with the college student population is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the interactive process for accommodations: intake, document review, eligibility, implementation, renewals.
• Manage caseload with ongoing case management, advocacy, and support.
• Coordinate housing accommodation requests with Residence Life and campus partners.
• Maintain confidential student records per ADA, FERPA, and institutional policies.
• Monitor accommodation usage and suggest service improvements.
• Develop and deliver training for faculty, staff on disability awareness and inclusive teaching.
• Assist with accommodated testing services and scheduling.
