Job summary

Learning Care in New Jersey is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director assumes sole responsibility and helps promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The role emphasizes accountability, fostering a caring environment, and staff recruitment to support profitability and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, with the School Director, the safe and effective operation of the school.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.

In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $22.78/starting hourly based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
