Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the daily operations of a childcare center, partnering with the School Director to ensure a safe, engaging environment for children and families. You will support teachers, manage scheduling, and uphold licensing standards.

You will lead staff, monitor program quality, and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children while maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace that reflects our commitment to families

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and meet state requirements for education and licensing.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $22.78/starting hourly rate based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
