Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a safe, engaging childcare center in partnership with the School Director.

You will support daily operations, ensure compliance with company and state licensing standards, and promote a positive, educational environment for children and families. In the Director's absence you will assume full responsibility for the school, lead staff development, and foster growth across social, physical, and intellectual domains.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state education requirements and center requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Support social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group's safety vision. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.


• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of a starting hourly at $29.79 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
