Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director, and to assume sole responsibility in the Director's absence. You will support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children while maintaining a high standard of care.

You will recruit and retain quality staff, uphold licensing standards, and lead by example to foster a welcoming, educational environment for families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for children and parents.
• Assist the School Director and, in their absence, assume responsibility for the school.
