Job summary

Blackberry Mountain is seeking an Assistant Dining Room Manager to lead the dining team in providing exceptional service for dinner, private functions, bar service and special events. The role focuses on maintaining high standards, coordinating staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction on a daily basis.

The candidate should have 2-3 years of supervisory experience in upscale dining, knowledge of wine and spirits, and familiarity with property management systems.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ operational management or supervisory experience in upscale dining room
• Knowledge of wine and spirits
• Computer experience: word processing, spreadsheets, property management systems

Responsibilities

• Lead dining room team and ensure Blackberry Mountain service standards
• Oversee dinner, private functions, bar service and special events
• Coordinate staff schedules and daily operations for two shifts
• Monitor service standards and guest seating plans
• Attend weekly team, group and manager meetings
• Support wine program and maintain team morale
