Dynamet, a Carpenter Technology Company, seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Clearwater, FL-based team and help optimize manufacturing processes for high-quality titanium and nickel-based alloys. The role emphasizes leadership across shifts, continuous improvement, and safe, efficient operations.

The Assistant Department Manager will mentor supervisors, develop training, monitor performance, and drive cost reductions while aligning with quality and safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a manufacturing supervisory or management role.
• Experience leading multiple supervisor-level direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, manpower planning, and cross-department coordination.
• Background in manufacturing systems, including process control and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations and align with organizational goals.
• Lead and guide Production Supervisors across shifts.
• Develop training materials and mentor staff.
• Create and review production schedules and manpower plans.
• Maintain and review SOPs and FMEA documents.
• Oversee TPM planning and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor costs and manage budgets for consumables and supplies.
