Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of the busiest teams in store operations. You will help guide production, merchandising and service excellence while driving department performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years of age with preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to take and give direction in a team environment.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and maintain staff with knowledge of reports and goals.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with regulations and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Help lead a team to deliver high quality product and customer service experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli staff.
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
