Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of the store’s busiest teams, focusing on healthy choices and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in managing deli operations, ordering, inventory, staff development, and ensuring health and safety guidelines. The role requires 18+ years old, supervisory experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
