Duke University Law School seeks an Assistant Dean for Student Affairs to provide strategic leadership for programs, services, and initiatives that support student success. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs, you will help shape an inclusive and engaging community and partner with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and university colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, implementation, and assessment of student affairs programs.
• Direct major Law School programs and events (LEAD Week, commencements, mentoring, leadership retreats).
• Develop programming aligned with the Blueprint to LEAD initiative.
• Build relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and university partners.
• Advise student organizations (e.g., Duke Bar Association) on governance, budgeting, and leadership development.
• Oversee training for student organization leaders on financial management and risk management.
• Maintain the Student Organization Handbook and related policies.
• Review and approve student programming to promote safety and accountability.
