Temple University seeks an Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations for the College of Education and Human Development. The role leads fundraising efforts, cultivates major gifts, and oversees the College's Board of Visitors, while collaborating with Institutional Advancement and college leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least seven years of related fundraising experience.
• Experience closing six- and seven-figure gifts preferred.
• Strong donor stewardship and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally as needed.
• Experience coordinating with college leadership and centralized advancement teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage fundraising within the College of Education and Human Development.
• Cultivate and solicit donors, including gifts of $50,000 and higher.
• Oversee the College's Board of Visitors and recruit new members.
• Collaborate with senior staff and faculty to align priorities and funding.
• Lead development and alumni relations staff in the college.
