Job summary

Temple University's Institutional Advancement Department is seeking a Director, Alumni Affinities and Programs. The role leads alumni engagement portfolios, mentors a team, and partners with campus and advancement colleagues to deliver high-impact programs that connect alumni to Temple.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in alumni relations, strong project management, and a track record in volunteer management and donor engagement within higher education.

Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in alumni relations, constituent or community engagement, membership programs, volunteer management, nonprofit programming, advancement, or a related field.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee key engagement portfolios, including affinity-based communities and programs connecting students and alumni to Temple University.
• Establish annual goals, support program planning and execution, manage resources, and align initiatives with departmental objectives.
• Collaborate across Institutional Advancement and campus partners to translate strategy into programs, events, and donor engagement.
