Job summary

Temple University is seeking a Director of Alumni Affinities and Programs to lead a broad portfolio of alumni engagement initiatives and affinity-based communities. The role reports to the Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and collaborates across Institutional Advancement and campus partners to deliver programs that connect alumni with the university and with each other.

The position combines on-campus and remote work in a hybrid arrangement, with responsibilities including program

Qualifications

• Significant understanding of alumni engagement and donor relations in education.
• Experience in volunteering management and fundraising programs.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement engagement strategies for alumni affinity programs.
• Oversee portfolios connecting students, alumni and donors with Temple University.
• Collaborate with internal partners to translate strategy into programs, events and communications.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, set annual goals and manage resources.
• Travel regionally to cultivate donor relationships and represent the university.
