Lowe’s is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations in a high-volume distribution center. You will oversee a team of Operations Managers, drive production plans, staffing, safety, and process improvements, while ensuring customer service excellence.

In collaboration with HR, you’ll recruit and develop managers, maintain safety standards, and guide the facility through change, aligning with Lowe’s goals and policies.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of distribution operations experience in a large, automated distribution center.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility.
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements and fostering a safety culture.

Mansioni

• Executes daily production plans meeting or exceeding customer service level targets.
• Develops staffing plans based on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements.
• Balances labor availability with volume requirements daily.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and work areas are neat, organized.
• Oversees inspection and maintenance of the distribution center and equipment.
• Drives operational improvements to meet service, throughput, and cost objectives.
• Supports HR issues, including attendance, pay, benefits, terminations, and accommodations.
• Recruits, trains, and develops shift management teams.
• Implements and measures effectiveness of associate training programs.
• Sets clear goals and provides feedback to managers.
• Provides resources and support for safe facility operations.
• Communicates business objectives and issues to managers and associates.
• Offers development opportunities and upward promotion paths.
• Leads the facility through change.
