Job summary

EVERON Data Centers seeks an Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to lead and train staff, manage critical and non-critical infrastructure, and support 24x7 operations. You will partner with the CFM to ensure 100% uptime and safety across the data center environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field or 3–5+ years in mission-critical settings, with leadership experience and familiarity with CMMS, SLAs, and budget planning. On-site duties and contractor coordination are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
• 1 year direct management of non-exempt shift employees is required.
• 1 year experience in a colocation data center environment is preferred.
• Experience establishing a new colocation data center is preferred.
• Technical school with emphasis on mission-critical operations or related military ops is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CFM in managing operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure and systems.
• Build a staff of CFTs with required skills to achieve 100% uptime.
• Manage power and cooling capacity and monitor environmental conditions.
• Support 24x7 data center operations and on-call emergencies.
• Oversee CMMS accuracy and generate operational reports as needed.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and change control activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors and manage site safety.
