Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Manager to join our fast-paced team. This role is crucial for our financial stability and involves managing all aspects of credit, collections, and accounts receivable functions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, expenses, income statements, and entries. This role requires a strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and a passion for optimizing company revenue.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage the entire credit granting process, including applying credit policies, conducting periodic reviews of existing customers, and assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers.
  2. Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures for credit and collections activities.
  3. Monitor and manage accounts receivable by tracking and resolving outstanding payments promptly.
  4. Ensure compliance with best practices in credit and collections processes.
  5. Prepare and present reports on credit and collections activities to senior management.
  6. Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer disputes and manage credit exposure.
  7. Conduct financial analysis, including reviewing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  8. Work with the finance department to reconcile disputes and prepare journal entries.
  9. Lead and mentor a team of credit and collections specialists, fostering a motivated and well-trained staff.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections roles.
  3. Proven leadership experience and ability to drive team performance.
  4. Strong understanding of financial concepts and statements.
  5. Proficiency with financial software and systems.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  7. High accuracy in financial data management.
  8. Exceptional negotiation skills and teamwork abilities.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  10. High integrity, dependability, and results-oriented mindset.
