Overview:

The Lending Product Manager provides leadership and oversight of translating strategic objectives into actionable product initiatives for Consumer & Real Estate Lending Products and services. The manager ensures that Lending products reach profitability and strategic objectives, and serves as a principal point of contact for Product Management with our internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure overall soundness of loan (Real Estate & Consumer) portfolio, with the ability to identify and develop long term strategies that will include initiatives such as product mix, growth goals, strategic and market penetration objectives.
  • Product Development and Management: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Real Estate Lending and Consumer Lending Products, including ideation, market analysis, design, development, testing, pricing, fees, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Product Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and report on portfolio trends including P&L, Lending Production management, pricing and delinquency management on shorter vs longer term product offerings. Provide corrective action recommendations when performance is not in line with expectations.
  • Market research and analysis: Set, maintain and monitor benchmarks of lending products performance. Provide reporting, analysis and recommendations.
  • Work with Lending and Lending Operations to support and bring-forth Product Deliverables to execution.
  • Engage Compliance, Legal, Fair Lending, and Risk business partners throughout product development.
  • Own Go-to-Market strategy alongside Lending, Retail, Digital and Marketing for any new product launches.
  • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) required or a minimum of eight years directly related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of product management, product development or product marketing experience required.
  • Expert Banking knowledge of Real Estate & Consumer Lending Products and services.
  • Strong reporting, decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, member oriented and able to proactively work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
