Job summary

Miss A Stores, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, seeks an energetic full-time Assistant Corporate Controller to support the Corporate Controller in leading accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities.

The role reports to the Controller and CFO, ensuring accurate monthly closes, consolidated reporting, and strong internal controls. Dallas-based, standard hours with a focus on teamwork and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 6-8 years’ accounting experience including leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and monthly close.
• Experience with multi-entity and inventory-based businesses.
• Professional & proficiency in Korean and English required.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience.
• CPA and NetSuite experience preferred.
• Retail, wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger, revenue, inventory, COGS, accounts payable, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related consolidation adjustments.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close procedures.
• Coordinate external audits, tax support, investor reporting, and lender requirements.
• Support ERP implementation and accounting process improvements.
• Help lead and develop the accounting team and support the Controller and CFO with financial reporting.
• Other duties as required.
